About Me

I am a Territorian who studied law in Darwin and Canberra. After a time working as a lobbyist in Canberra I was admitted as a legal practitioner in the Northern Territory in 2002 and have worked as a Darwin lawyer, in-house-counsel in Government roles and most recently as CEO of the Law Society Northern Territory. I have turned my passion for the law and governance to create a boutique service bringing together my legal expertise and management experience.

All the best planning and strategy won't replace good advice and a solid roadmap. When you are busy with the day to day you need legal advice that is sound and a plan for action that you can easily implement. Litigation and dispute resolution take time, you need a trusted legal adviser that knows and understands your business and your challenges.

An experienced manager I know we need good legal advice but we also need to be on the front foot with regulation and our obligations and sound legal knowledge can give confidence when policies and procedures need to be updated and risks need to be managed.

I have experience in:

  • Administrative Law, professional regulation, dealing with government;
  • Civil disputes;
  • Contracts;
  • Employment law;
  • Personal injury law;
  • Mediation and dispute resolution;

An experienced lobbyist I know media communications and messaging. I bring together a depth of experience to assist small business and NGO sector.
